The Red Planet Diner was there before Los Rosales..
I walked 👟 in about 20 minutes before closing 🕦so I didn't get a meal but had one Michelada 🍹with Victoria 🍺 cerveza. But that one item was all I needed after a day long hike on and around Cathedral Rock🗿. Sooooo refreshing 💫! It came with a Flautirriko Tarugos candy 🍭 stick!
Very delicious food and great service
Tamale platter was excellent. Great stop after hiking.
There should be a song written about this place, bc they've got roses, they've got scenic views, they've got liquor and damn good hot sauce too. Drop the mike 🎙
So my spicy cilantro jalapeño margarita was fantastic. They were very mindful of my dairy allergy and I had the best carnitas of my life. Granted, I'm from the northeast, so I might not be the best judge, but I truly enjoyed them. House made salsa was also delicious. Portions were generous. Service was prompt. Definitely recommend.
Went there for two bean and cheese burritos that cost $20 but they were cold tortilla wasn't heated up on either one and the cheese wasn't even melted, cold to the touch. Could've gotten a better burrito at a gas station. First and last time ever going there. Such a disappointment.
The food was good but the wait time was insane. Sat down and didn’t get order taken for 20 minutes. Food took about 15 minutes. Drinks were offered to be refilled after 45 minutes. Not sure we’ll be coming back.
Ok so I was skeptical at first due to reading reviews, however my family and I ate here and its nothing short of amazing! The salsa is good and the staff is nice. I told the waiter I needed extra salsa. He brought me four bowls and I ate every single one of them; along with encouragement for more! I'm a pretty picky eater and they complied to my complicated order! I would come back for sure!! Totally reccomend!
Pretty good food, kind of high priced. But thats to be expected in this area. Very friendly staff. Would visit again
There was a reason why the parking lot was empty and the items were full. Bland tasteless!
Friendly staff and fast service!
Absolutely terrible food and service. No draft beer. No chips and salsa. Out of everything. Pretty sure fish tacos were cut up Walmart fish sticks. Will not be visiting again.
Good food and service. What's there to say after hiking all day. Yummy in my tummey
Not too crowded on a Saturday night which was a plus. Prickly pear margarita was good. Food was average. Wait staff was attentive. Would go back...
Nice inside and good service but the food was not as we expected. Had a cheese crisp, they use mozzarella cheese and tortilla was not crisp. Red Enchilada sauce was very different. Not what I would not eat. Would not be going back.
Great meal at a great price. The six of us had a great dinner there. Place is not fancy, but the food was terrific. Great margaritas and entrees. Portions were excellent. More authentic than most Mexican restaurants. Fluor tortillas were freshly made and delicious and like street tacos in Mexico. Excellent service.
Outstanding service, great food and drinks. Recommend to anyone. Best Mexican food in sedona.
As someone that has lived in Mexico, Texas, Florida, Arizona and now Colorado I can say I have experienced a wide spectrum of "Mexican" food. I would rate Los Rosales as a 7 out of 10. The night before I experienced "Nick's" Mexican restaurant across the street and I would rate that a 4. We had to get the bad taste of Nick's out of our mouths and Los Rosales did the trick.
As of July 20th, 2020 best street tacos in Sedona. Chorizo and al Pastor have no rival in town. Everything is fresh and delicious. Affordable prices and friendly service.
Wors't experince..food was nasty ordered for 4 people bill was $72 + 12.00 tip wich was included by the waiter ended up paying over 92 never coming back!!
The food was pretty good not amazing but good and I enjoyed it also service is nice
Friendly prompt service, drinks and food were good... I can't say it was fantastic, but I would go back! Decent prices with large portions!
We'll seasoned food. The service was good but not intrusive. Pleasant atmosphere.
My boyfriend and I treated ourselves to a meal while visiting Sedona after doing a long and strenuous hike. It did not disappoint! The wait staff were attentive and got our food out very fast. The food was TO DIE FOR!!! The meals range between $10-25 but the amount of food you get is totally worth the leftovers (or just eat it all like I did!) Love this place! We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Sedona!
Wait staff were great and checked on us often. Air conditioning was too cold. I had fish tacos and they were as good as I have had. My wife had chicken tacos with red sauce, black beans, Mexican rice. If they want to get to my wife's heart, they need to add Arroz con Polo.😉
holy cow. maybe the worst food i have ever had. i NEVER write reviews but - wow! this was a joke.
Service was great(I went at about 4pm).They accommodated my veggie gluten free diet, but the chips were really stale and salsa was 3 stars.
Honestly, this place should have better reviews. It is authentic Mexican food, yet it has its own flare. I got the chile relleno plate and it was absolutely delicious! Probably one of the best ones I've gotten in Arizona and I've had a lot! I also got a quesadilla for my son and was pleasantly surprised the tortillas tasted homemade and the cheese was clearly Mexican. My husband also enjoyed his dish. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant and we will be back.
the staff were very friendly but the food was disgusting and expensive. I asked for a shrimp cocktail and got cooked shrimp with tomato sauce. No flavor. Sorry won't come back.
Awful. Slow at best and overpriced generic mexican food. And you pay for chips. Have you ever been to a Mexican place and had to pay for chips? There are 50 mexican restaurants in the area....I picked wrong. Don't waste (a lot) of your time.
Amazing lunch buffet. Super good food and margaritas all around.
Its ok but i was hoping for better
Located where the Red Planet Cafe used to be, the view of the Sedona cliffs and rocks from this location is fantastic. The roses are in full bloom right now. By the way the food is good and there is a large menu to choose from. There is a bar area and they feature a happy hour.
This place was delicious and so affordable. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this restaurant in Sedona! Their food was delicious, I tried a mandarin jarritos for the first time and it was bomb! Our server was super nice and friendly and we sat outside with beautiful views!
Delicious nopales tostada! Good quick service & very nice!
Very friendly service and great food! Bathrooms were a little dirty and smelly. But I would definitely stop and eat there again! Good portion sizes too!!
Very delicious southern Mexican food. I had the Buffet. It's hard to find real tasty Mexican food.
What a mistake!!!!??? Dont eat here!!! I dont know how or why this place has so many good reviews!!!I ordered 4 tacos. The smallest tacos I've ever seen!!! $10.00 + $2.00 tip..The 4 tacos are the size of 1 taco at other Mexican restaurants. I'd be embarrassed to serve such a small portion to my customers!!!
Great home cooked lunch buffet! Beautiful and friendly severs.
Didn't get my order correctly, then called and asked I was missing an ingredient then they didn't even try to resolve the situation. Overly priced as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Horrible place to eat bad food, very expensive. They don’t give a good service at all. I will never come back. I definitely don’t Recommended
The staff was nice but the chips tasted like oil and the salsa wasn't great. It was just blah. Nothing to write home about.
To the team at Los Rosales restaurant, thank you for the great lunch the other day and for keeping a clean facility and most of all socially distancing each table in the dining room. I didn't try your margaritas but I'll be back for one next time!
Yum! Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious, and I don't even like margaritas. The chimichanga was pretty average, guacamole was delicious! Fun little place. Good food.
Absolutely the blandest Mexican food I've ever had. I had to salt and pepper my food and cover it with a hotter salsa just to finish it. I never salt my food. Edible but it was like a teenager with no cooking experience made it.The server was was not friendly. She never once smiled. At least she didn't care enough to ask how the food was because I would have told her instead of writing this review. When you see this place drive on by because it was a very disappointing lunch experience.
Good food and good service will come back
Good service delicious green chilaquiles 😊
Chicken enchiladas in red mole sauce with cheese excellent!! Tres leches cake for dessert scrumptious! Great service!
Really enjoyed the time we had here. The menu was great, and they had amazing sauce alongside the fajitas. The staff was very nice to talk to.
